3 lbs beef short ribs
2 T packed brown sugar
3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/4 C all purpose flour
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) Campbell's condensed French Onion Soup
1 bottle (12 oz.) beer
Hot Mashed potatoes or Noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Place beef, brown sugar, garlic and thyme in a 3 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker. Sprinkle with flour and toss to coat.

Mix soup and beer. Pour over beef.

Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hrs. or High 4 to 5 hrs. or until beef is fork tender. Remove beef from sauce. Spoon off fat from sauce before serving. Serve with mashed potatoes or noodles.
