1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/4 cup self-risen flour
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans or English walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter baking pan. Melt butter (soft melt in microwave 30-45 seconds). Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla, add flour blending well. Add the coconut and chopped nuts. turn into a well-buttered, 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 min. Cool 5-10 minutes then cut into squares.Cool completely or enjoy warm.
