2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Flour
1 Stick Margarine
1/2 Cup Shortening
4 Tbsp. Cocoa
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Buttermilk
2 Eggs
1 Tsp. Soda
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together sugar and flour in large mixing bowl. Combine margarine, shortening, cocoa and water in saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil; pour over sugar mixture. Stir well; do not use an electric mixer. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla; mix well. Pour into greased 16"x11" pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Make icing about 5 minutes before cake is done.

This is a recipe my mother baked and has become Richard's favorite cake. He has been known to bake this many times.
