"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Rocky Road Drops, by Janet Shea, is from Family and Friends Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 Package Chocolate Chips 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk 3 Cups Miniature Marshmallows 1 Cup Pecans (Chopped)
In top of double boiler, over hot water (not boiling), melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk; remove from heat. In large bowl, combine marshmallows and nuts; stir in chocolate mixture. Pour in greased pan or drop by spoonfuls on greased pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Store loosely covered in cool dry place.
A recipe I got from my mother that my family loves and is easy to make.
