6 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1-3/4 cup sugar

Filling:
2 (3 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups whipping cream, whipped
2 cups miniature marshmallows

Topping:
1 can (1-1/2 lb.) cherry pie filling
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries or 1 package frozen strawberries (thawed and drained)

Heat oven to 275. Grease a 13X9 inch pan. Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until frothy. Gradually beat in 1-3/4 cups sugar and beat until very stiff and glossy. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 60 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave meringue in the oven until cool.

Mix cream cheese with 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Gently fold in whipped cream and marshmallows. Spread over meringue. Refrigerate 12 hours or overnight.

Mix together filling, lemon juice and strawberries. Cut dessert into serving pieces and top with cherry-berry topping.

I have one friend who makes this in individual servings using muffin tins. It is a lot of work but pretty neat for serving.
