1 cup oat flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup nonfat milk
5 ounces of favorite bittersweet chocolate chips(or Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips )

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, stir together oat flour, and whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, then the milk. Add/stir in the flour mixture. Add/stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheets. Bake 12-14 minutes or until browned around the edges.

Makes 30 to 36 cookies.
