1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs separated
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon fresh nutmeg
1/2 cup ground hazelnuts
1 cup plum preserves
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks to butter and sugar. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with plum preserves and sour cream. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in. Bake in greased and floured cake pans at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Serve with cream cheese frosting.
