2 1/2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup White Syrup
1/2 Cup Warm Water
2 egg whites, beaten
Pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well sugar, syrup and water. Cook slowly. DO NOT STIR. Cook until foamy, to the soft-ball stage. Pour cooked mixture into egg whites, beating all the time. Continue stirring by hand until it begins to "fudge," then add nuts to taste. Drop by spoonful onto waxed paper.
