1/2-3/4 cup milk, 2 cups sifted flour, 3/4-1 cup sugar, stick of butter, 2 eggs, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla, 10 Granny Smith or Rome baking apples-sliced.

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour 2 8" pans. Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter, eggs, vanilla. Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt slowly. Add milk. Mix well till smooth. Spoon into pans and place sliced apples in concentric circles on top. Sugar and cinnamon the apples and bake for app. 50 minutes at 350.
