cucumbers whole or sliced
3 cups of water
3 cups white vinegar
1/2 cup canning salt
6 hot peppers (2 per quart)
6 cloves of garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Pack cucumbers, hot peppers, and garlic in 3 quart jars. Bring water, vinegar and salt to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over cucumbers, pepper & garlic. Seal, Boil packed jars in hot water bath for 5 minutes. Makes 3 quarts.

Hot water bath simply means to put packed sealed jars in tall pan. then fill with water to top of jars and boil. When you take then out, you will hear the jars sealing. The lid will have a slight indention in the center.
