Ingredients:  
Beat thoroughly... 4 eggs
Beat in gradually...1 cup sugar
Mix and stir in.... 1 cup dry bread crumbs and 1 t. baking powder
Stir in.... 2 cups finely cut pitted dates
1 cup cut up walnut or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Spread in well greased 9" square pan. Bake until set, Cut in oblongs 3x2". Serve cool with whipped cream or ice cream.
Bake350 for 35 minutes.

Mother always put these in cupcake papers and baked them.
