Crust:
1 cup butter
2 cups flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Filling:
8 ounces cream cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
Frosting:
3 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup butter
2 teaspoons almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Mix crust ingredients (butter, flour, powdered sugar) until crumbly. Press into a 9x13 pan. Bake for 23 minutes at 350 degrees. Filling: Using a mixer, beat together the filling ingredients (cream cheese, eggs, sugar, almond extract). Pour over crust while the crust is still hot. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Frosting: Once the bars have cooled, whisk together the frosting ingredients (powdered sugar, milk, butter, almond extract). Spread on bars and sprinkle with almond slivers.
