1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 unbaked pastry shell

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter; add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake on lower shelf in a moderate oven (375), 40-45 minutes.
