Graham Cracker Crust:
1-1/2 cup of crushed graham crackers
3 tablespoons sugar
1/3 cup butter (melted)
Filling:
32 marshmallows
3/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup whipping cream, whipped with a little vanilla and almond extract
1 square baker's chocolate (grated)
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Mix graham crackers, sugar, and butter thoroughly and line a 9 inch pie tin. Bake for 10 minutes in a 350 degree pre-heated oven Melt marshmallows, milk, and salt in a double boiler. Remove from heat and cool completely. Once cool, add whipped cream, shaved chocolate, and walnuts mixed to the pie crust. Top with some grated chocolate bits.
Chill, and serve pie cut in 8 pieces.

This is a very rich recipe but a family favorite. I have not made this since the late 1960s, but it was always a very big hit with the kids. Graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. What's not to like? Sounds like smores. Cut into 8 pieces and remember that each one has 4 whole marshmallows and well over 320 calories for each small slice. Decadent!
