1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. mashed ripe banana
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening & sugar, then add flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, eggs. Blend together and add walnuts. Bake in loaf pan at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
