1 to 1 1/2 lb stew beef
4-5 medium potatoes, peeled & cut 1 1/2" chunks
4 carrots, peeled & chunked
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 6 oz tomato paste
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 T bacon bits
3 T brown sugar
3 c water

Directions:
Directions:
Place beef in slow cooker. Add potatoes & carrots. In a saucepan, place dry onion soup mix, tomato paste, water, pepper, seasoning salt, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, bacon bits & brown sugar.

Heat over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat & pour over meat and vegetables in slow cooker.

Cover & cook on low setting for 9 hrs or 6 hrs on high setting. Add water as necessary.
