1 lb. butter
1/2 lb. or 1 c. fine sugar
2 lb. or 8 c. sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together. Using your hands, shape dough into rounds about about 6" in diameter on brown paper on a cookie sheet. Prick with a roasting fork. Bake at 350 F for 20-25 minutes till edges are light brown (they burn easily!). Makes 7-8 rounds.

Baboo was my great grandmother (my mother Merry's grandmother) who lived with us about 5 years when I was a child. This is especially yummy with tea, right after playing outside in the snow.
