1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup Spanish peanuts
1 cup peanut butter chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together shortening, butter, peanut butter, sugar, dark brown sugar, and eggs. In a separate bowl, mix flour, soda, baking powder, and salt together. Blend two mixtures together. Then add Spanish peanuts and peanut butter chips.

Spray cookie sheets with Pam Baking Spray. Shape dough into 1-1 1/2 inch balls and place 3 inches apart. WIth fork dipped in flour, flatten in a crisscross pattern to 2 inches. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until set but not hard. Done when golden brown.
