Make a crust of 30 small squares crushed saltine crackers and 1/2 cup melted butter. SautÚ until golden brown 3 cups thinly sliced onions in 1/4 cup butter. ADD: 1 1/2 C. scalded milk to 3 beaten eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Pour mixture over the onion/cheese mixture in casserole dish. Bake at 350║ for 30 minutes or until custard sets.
