1 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. molasses
1/2 t. salt
2 t. soda
1 t.cinnamon
1 t. ginger
Flour

Mix in order. Flour enough to roll out. Bake at 350 about 8 minutes.
