1/4 lb. bacon
3/4 cup white vinegar
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups water
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup flour
3 tsp salt
About 7 lbs of red potatoes - boiled, peeled & sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Mix vinegar, water, sugar, salt & pepper - set aside. Cut bacon into small pieces and fry in skillet. Remove bacon pieces and set aside. Add onions to bacon fat and fry until soft. Add flour to bacon fat and mix well. Turn heat to low. Add vinegar mixture to flour mixture and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour over sliced potatoes and mix. Add bacon pieces.
