2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg slightly beaten
1 large onion, grated
Salt to taste
1 T. butter
SAUCE:
1 bottle chili sauce
Juice of one lemon
1 1/2 c. grape jelly

Directions:
Directions:
Combine meat, egg, onion, and salt. Mix and shape into small balls. Brown slightly in the butter. Mix sauce ingredients. Simmer meatballs in sauce for a few minutes. Serve with cocktail picks.

Original recipe from Irene Martin. Irene has been a family friend for around 40 years. When our kids were growing up together, everyone always brought food to any gathering so the host and hostess wouldn't have to do so much work. Also, no one left the party until everything was put away.
