Ingredients:  
2 T oleo, 2 T corn syrup, 1 C roasted nuts, 1/2 C boiling water, 1 1/2 C sugar and 1 t baking soda.

Directions:
Directions:
heat oleo in large skillet, add water and syrup. Sift sugar into skillet and stir until dissolved. Boil syrup until forms into hard and brittle thread in icey cold water. Remove from heat quickly add nuts and soda pour onto baking sheet. Spread quickly into thin sheet, when cool break into pieces.
