2 C sugar, 1 C butter, 4 C flour, 6 eggs beat one at time, 1 t baking power, 1 lb. raisins, 1/2 lb. cherries, 1/2 lb. pineapple, 1 grated nutmeg, 1 qt. cutup nuts, 1 C wine or sherry and a pinch of salt.

Mix sugar, butter, flour baking power salt nutmeg and wine together. Flour fruit with extra flour and add last add 1 t vanilla and 1 t lemon if desired. Then cook in tube pan @ 250 for 4 hours
