1-1/4 cooking oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. apples, peeled and chopped;

Topping:
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 stick margarine or butter
1/4 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine oil and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each. Add flour, salt, and soda, beat well. Add pecans and apples. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 70 minutes at 350 degrees, or in a 9x13 for 50-60 minutes.

Topping:
Combine sugar, butter, and milk in saucepan. Cook to boiling. Pour topping over cake immediately after removing from oven. Let stand for two hours before removing from pan.
