1 1/2 C chopped pecans,1 8oz. package cream cheese,6 eggs, dash salt, 1 1/2 C butter, 3 C sugar,3 C Sifted cake flour and 1 1/2 t vanilla.

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour 10" tube pan. sprinkle 1/2 C of the chopped pecan's in bottom of pan.
Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour and salt. Add to butter mixture along with vanilla. Stir in remaining cup of nuts.
Pour into prepared pan and bake in 300 oven for 1 hour and 10 to 15 min. Cool in pan for 10 min.
