4-5 large onions
Butter
1 T. soy sauce
french bread
garlic salt
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. milk
swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 9 x 13 pan. Pre-heat oven to 350
Saute onions in butter until yellow. Place in bottom of baking dish. Layer cheese covering onions.
In the pan that the onions were in, cook soup, milk, and soy sauce. Pour over onions/cheese. Cut french bread in 1" slices. Butter one side, sprinkle with garlic salt and place on top of soup with buttered side up.
Bake until bread is brown and crisp, usually 30-45 minutes.

Some people would think eating a casserole of onions wouldn't be that appetizing but this dish is wonderful and a staple every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas in the DeLuca house.
