1 1/2 lbs. ground pork or ground beef
2 cups onion, chopped
1 cup green pepper, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2-28-oz. cans diced tomatoes
1 1/2 cup kidney beans, drained, or chile beans
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup salsa
1 T. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
Shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and season as desired (use pork seasoning with ground pork). Add onions, green pepper and garlic. Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients, put in regular sized crock pot, add water to fill. Cook several hours. Serve topped with shredded cheese. Excellent!
