4 cups raw rhubarb chunks
1 cup sugar
1 large box strawberry jell-o mix (dry)
1 box white or yellow cake mix (dry)
1 stick margarine, melted
1 cup cold water
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 9x13 baking dish. Cut rhubarb into chunks, spread in baking dish. Mix sugar and jell-o mix together and sprinkle over rhubarb. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top of rhubarb and jell-o mixture. Pour melted margarine over all of it, then cold water (and nuts, if desired) over that. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, till you know the rhubarb's done.

Since most of us won't be as rhubarb savvy as Aunt Frances, we will need to test the rhubarb with a fork for tenderness. Rhubarb is done when it is fork tender.
