For brownies:
1 stick butter, melted
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 c flour
1/3 c cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 c chopped nuts (optional)

For frosting:
3 tbsp butter, softened
3 tbsp cocoa
1 tbsp light corn syrup, or honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 c powdered sugar
1 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9" baking pan. Combine all ingredients. Spread into pan. Bake 20-25 min. Cool completely before adding frosting.

To prepare frosting, beat butter, cocoa, syrup and vanilla until well blended. Add powdered sugar and milk, beat slowly until smooth. Add additional milk if necessary for desired consistency. Frost brownies before serving.
