2 c. butter
2 c. white sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
4 c. flour
5 c. oatmeal ( put in blender until powder)
24 oz. bag of chocolate chips
1 8 oz. Hershey candy bar (chopped)
3 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:

Cream together well first four ingredients. Add next three and mix well. Add flour and oatmeal slowly and then add last three ingredients.
Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes.

Sometimes before I add the last three ingredients I will divide my dough in half and cut back on some of the nut and chip. Then on the second half I will add 1 tbsp. or a little more and raisins. This makes good arisen oatmeal cookies.
