2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
2/3 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 6-oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients except sugar. Melt shortening, add sugar and beat. Cool. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour, turn into 9 x 13 greased pan. Sprinkle with chips. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
