4 cups fresh or frozen cherries
1/4 cup tapioca
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. almond flavoring

Double pie crust recipe

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together and put into 8 or 9 inch pastry lined deep dish pie pan. Dot with 2 tbsp butter before putting top crust on. Bake at 350 30 to 45 minutes.

Personal Notes:
I like to put in microwave for 5 to 6 minutes before putting in oven. It quickens baking time.
If using a 9 inch pie pan, you may want to add 1 more cup cherries and add 1 to 2 tbsp cornstarch.
