2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and cocoa. Add milk and margarine in 2 qt boiler. Place over medium heat and bring to a full boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Stir in nuts (if desired). Add oats 1/2 c. at a time, stirring after each. Stir until firm (usually 2-3 c. of oats). Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool.
