6 medium-size tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 unbaked 10-inch pastry shell
1 cup sugar
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
4 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup whipped cream, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange apples evenly in pastry shell. Mix sugar, cracker crumbs, flour, walnuts, and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Pour butter evenly over topping.
Bake at 350 until apples are tender when pierced, about 1 hour. Serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream.
