1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup of shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups whole wheat flour (or half and half)
3/4 cups cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. soda
cinnamon/sugar mix (3 parts sugar to 1 part cinnamon)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla together. Add flour, cornstarch, salt, cream of tarter and soda. Mix well. Shape into 1" balls. Roll in cinnamon/sugar mix and place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2" apart. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes, or until set. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
