picnic ham or small ham
carrots
cabbage
potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
This is a boiled dinner made atop of the stove all afternoon
In a large pot add cleaned and cut carrots and potatoes(large diced) with the ham.
Add just enough water to cover all ingredients.
After about 1 hr. cut and quarter the head of cabbage and add this to the pot.
When all are fully cooked about 2-3 hrs.Ham will nearly fall apart.
Cook on low simmer

This is a good meal for a cold day in the winter.
