beef stew meat
onion
salt,pepper
chopped carrots

Directions:
Directions:
brown stew meat in a deep fry pan.in olive oil or canola oil. Do not drain.
add chopped onions and chopped bite size cleaned carrots.
add salt and pepper to taste
Simmer on top of stove on low until meat is tender and carrots are soft.
Usually about 11/2 hrs. until done.You can tell if the meat is done by testing it with your fork.
Thicken juice with flour to make gravy and serve from one dish.

This is a family recipe from Gram Regan. It's good comfort food.
Serve with mashed potatoes, peas or corn, applesauce, cottage cheese.
