1 C Plain Flour
⅓ C Shortening
C Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Baking Powder
tsp Salt
tsp Nutmeg
C Milk

Topping:
C Melted Butter
1 tsp Cinnamon
C Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Grease muffin pan and Preheat oven 350˚ .
Cream well the shortening, sugar, egg.
Mix together the dry ingredients and stir it alternately with the milk into the creamed mix.
Fill ⅔ full and bake 20-25 min
While the muffins bake melt the butter and mix the sugar and cinnamon to be ready to dip them when they come out of the oven
Remove the warm muffins and dip them in the melted butter and then into the sugar and cinnamon mixture
Enjoy warm!
