1 Tbsp.(or package) dry yeast
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp salt

1 cup very warm water
1 cup warm milk
1 egg

Frosting:
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened*
2 cups powered sugar
1Tbs milk (add a few tsp at a time until it is spreadable)

Directions:

Mix together in a large bowl:
yeast
flour
sugar
butter
salt

Add water and milk. Beat with mixer until very smooth. Add egg and beat well. By hand add
2 1/2-3 1/2 cups flour. Knead for~10 minutes. Put into large container sprayed with Pam and let rise in warm place until doubled. Punch down.

Divide 2/3 and 1/3. Roll out the 2/3 portion into a 9x13 rectangle. Spread with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon (~2-3 TBS) and sugar (1/4-1/3 cup). Roll up starting from long side. Place on baking sheet and shape into a ring. Cut about 2/3 of the way trough the ring every inch. Gently pull pieces and twist to the side. Let rise 20-25 minutes or until not quite doubled. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. Frost when cooled.

Bake loaf (1/3 portion) at 375 for ~20 minutes.

Frosting: Makes more than you will need.

Mix with beaters until fluffy:

~1/4 cup butter softened
~1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
Add ~2cups of powered sugar, mix
Add 1 TBS of milk, a few tsp at a time until you get a spreadable frosting
