1 cut up chicken
2 tbsp. margarine
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. flour
thyme
bay leaves
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 1 tbsp. margarine in skillet. Saute' onion until tender. Add 2 tbsp. flour and brown. Add a pinch of thyme and 2 bay leaves. Add soup and one can of water and stir to gravy consistency.

In the meantime, place chicken in a buttered 9 x 13 baking dish and brown for 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Drain grease off and turn chicken over. Pour gravy over chicken and finish baking for one hour.

Be sure to remove bay leaves before serving.
