Ingredients:  
3 tbsp. salad oil
2 lbs. lean beef, cubed
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 cup undiluted beef broth,[ I use1 tbsp. beef soup base dissolved in 1 cup water.]
1 cup burgandy wine
about 12 small white onions, peeled
1-3 oz. can mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325 Heat oil in skillet & brown beef on all sides. Stir in flour, salt, pepper & thyme. Mix well & put in a 3 qt. casserole. Mix beef broth & wine & pour over meat. Add mushrooms & onions. Place casserole in oven & bake 2 & 1/2 hours.
