2 tbsp butter
2 cups peeled and diced potatoes
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp flour
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups milk
3 cups broccoli ( chopped florets and thinly sliced stalk)
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large sauce pan, melt butter and add potato and onion. Saute until onion is tender. Add flour and cook for about 2 minutes. stirring well. Gradually add chicken broth and milk. Bring to a simmer and cook until potatoes are soft and 5 minutes. Add broccoli and cook another 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and add cheese. Add lemon juice and salt and pepper.
