1 (9 inch) prepared unbaked pastry shell
3 eggs
1 cup pure maple syrup
cup light brown sugar, packed
2 T. melted butter or butter substitute
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cups pecan pieces or halves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and place rack at lowest position. In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter or butter substitute, and vanilla; blend well. Stir in pecans. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is set.

This is a pecan pie recipe I make each year for Thanksgiving. Every time I have made it I have received many compliments for it.
