4 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 pound butter, softened

Mix all ingredients together by hand. Pat into a 11x17 cookie sheet. Prick entire surface with fork. Bake in 250 degree oven for 60-70 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with sugar while hot and cut into squares, while hot.

Store in an airtight container.
