1/2 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped dates
2 eggs
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine in a 8x8 pan. Add remaining ingredients to pan and beat with fork until smooth and creamy. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cut into small bars and sprinkle with confectionary sugar.
