1/2 c. sliced almonds or pecans
3 T. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
dash pepper
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 T. chopped parsley
2 T. sugar
2 T. vinegar
Dash of Tabasco
Romaine lettuce
Iceberg Lettuce
1 c. celery chopped
1 whole bell pepper chopped
2 whole green onions chopped
1 can pineapple chunks

Directions:
Directions:
To toast nuts, place in saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir constantly. Watch carefully, will burn. Pour into plate sprayed with Pam; cool. Store in airtight container.
Dressing: Mix together the salt, pepper, vegetable oil, chopped parsley, sugar, vinegar, and Tabasco. Mix and store in refrigerator in jar.
Prepare greens by rinsing with water and squeeze dry. Add can of pineapple. Mix with greens, nuts, and dressing when ready to serve. Can substitute mandarin oranges for pineapple is desired.
