1/2 cup shortening or 1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar packed
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to
Bake 10-12 minutes

Mix shortening, butter, peanut butter, sugars and egg together until creamy. Sift flour and dry ingredients and mix into creamy batter until well blended.

Chill dough for 1 hour and roll into walnut size balls. Dip fork into a bowl of sugar and press balls in a crisscross pattern.

Bake on a lightly greased pan (can spray with Pam).
