1 C sugar
1/2 C shortening or butter
1 egg
1/2 C milk 3 C flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

Filling
1 C raisins
1tbsp flour
1/2 C Sugar
1/2 C water
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 400*
Mix ingredients in order given.
Roll out and fill. ( Roll dough out fairly thin, cut with biscuit cutter and put about 1 tbsp of filling on and place another one on top & pinch edge together.
