1 C. flour
2/3 C. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 C. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 C. whole milk
2 T. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. packed brown sugar
Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Greaxe aan 8x8" pan.
In medium bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and 1/4 C. cocoa. Whisk in the milk, butter andvanilla just until smooth.
Spread batter into baking dish.
In small bowl mix brown sugar and 1/4 C. cocoa. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Carefully pour 1-1/2 C. BOILING WATER over batter. DO NOT STIR.
Bake 30 minutes.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Serve warm with icecream if desired.
